Eagle Ford County Coverage
The Eagle Ford covers a major part of South Texas, but benefits from being more rural in comparison to other shale plays. Most leases cover large ranches, which can be several hundred and even thousands of acres. This makes leasing more simple than what is experienced in urban areas like the Barnett.
The Texas Railroad Commission notes permits for Eagle Ford Shale wells in Edwards County, Houston County, and Wood County. Each of those wells was completed into a different interval and we have excluded the counties from the list for the time being.
