Dallas-based Titanium Exploration Partners, LLC has joined with Värde Partners to increase their presence in the Eagle Ford Shale.

Titanium and Värde recently closed on the purchase of approximately 3,900 net acres in the Eagle Ford with production of 1,050 barrels of oil equivalent per day.
Värde is providing the financing for the acquisition and Titanium will manage the new assets that include non-operated working interests in Karnes and Gonzales Counties, and operated working interests in Karnes and Atascosa Counties, Texas.
The acquisition also includes approximately 3,600 net acres in the STACK play of Oklahoma, which includes 1,100 barrels of oil equivalent of daily production.

Other recent development in the Eagle Ford:
- Last week: Carrizo Oil & Gas, Inc. announced it has signed an agreement to acquire 15,000 acres in the heart of the Eagle Ford from Sanchez Energy Corporation.
- Early October: Venado Oil and Gas, LLC and global investment firm KKR announced that they are joining together to develop assets in the Eagle Ford Shale.
- July: Energy Hunter Resources announced completion of a private placement of its common stock worth approximately $3.15 million. The company used a portion of the proceeds to purchase two separate lease blocks in the Eagle Ford.
- June: Sundance Energy Australia Limited entered into an agreement to acquire approximately 5,050 net acres targeting the Eagle Ford in McMullen County, Texas.
