My family owns property in Lavaca County, which is surounded by oil wells but we are no leased.

I worked in Oil and Gas Exploration during the late 70 s, mid 80s. As you know that was the end of the Oil era until, somewhat recent times. I am so excited that there is a BOOM once again in my home state. Presently I reside in N. Miss>I want so very much to return to Texas and be employed in the Gas business. My family has leased the mineral rights from 823.18 acres in LaSalle and Dimmit counties to Chesapeake Exploration in Sep 2011…how do I find out if drilling is occurring on that property?
