Eagle Ford Oil & Gas Corp Acquires Frio County Acreage for $6.26 Million

Adding an 85% working interest in 3,684 acres

Eagle Ford Oil and Gas Corporation is acquiring an 85% working interest in 3,684 acres in Frio County, TX.  With a price tag of $6.26 million ($2,000/acre), the company is adding exploration potential in the Austin Chalk, Eagle Ford, and Buda Lime oil plays, as well as the deeper condensate rich Pearsall Shale.

Company data suggests wells in the area will produce EUR’s of 350,000-500,000 bbls, with initial production rates of 400-1,000 b/d.
