Chesapeake Trucking Job Fair September 8, 2011

The hiring continues:

If you’re looking for a job in South Texas or with a major operator, be sure to check the Eagle Ford job listings for your opportunity.

Oilfield Trucking Solutions, a subsidiary of Chesapeake Energy, will hold a trucking job fair in San Antonio on Thursday, Sept. 8.

The company plans to hire about 20 experienced full-time truck drivers in the near term to transport petroleum products from the Eagle Ford Shale oil and gas play, Chesapeake spokesman Silver Vasquez says. It expects to add 50 more trucking jobs over the next six months.

    Though this of interest , there are many retired drivers or returning drivers would like this opportunity however this is an idea, to purchase used trucks with sleepers, and provide showers and a place where drivers could do their laundry and a recreation area.

    Housing and other issues that put a slight damper on drivers rushing to the gush of oil.

    I have an interest in hauling sand, gravel, or water………. I have my CDL-A with tanker endorsements.

    I have been out of seat for a while, but I still know how to drive and have had experience hauling sand and gravel.
