  1. David Bohmfalk says:

I’m a disabled veteran, so I can’t do the heavy manual labor in the fields. I hold two MS degrees, but have no experience in the oil industry, aside from having worked security at refineries when I was younger. Is there any type of work available for someone with a police and security background and a high degree of education, but no oil experience and not able to work at heavy manual labor?

  2. I’m an educator and have a masters in administration. I want to change careers and work for the oil industry, can anyone help? I’ve applied on several sights, but no calls! Help?!

A little disappointed. Houston job fair on 9/23 and Austin job fair on 9/30 have no oil and gas companies listed in the participating company listings. Tried to find info on the Midland oil, gas and transportation job fair on 10/08 but only found one for tomorrow (9/26). This one has nothing but oil and gas related companies. Is there one in Midland on 10/08 and where can I get the info or was this a mis-print? Called the number listed and left a message. Waiting on a reply. Thanks
