My wife and I are both Safety Managers for trucking companies and have been for 20+ years. We are looking to relocate to South Texas for a couple of reasons; one we love the gulf coast region, and two we want to be in a warmer climate. We currently live in Ft Smith Ark, and we are trying to locate jobs in the Eagle Ford area preferable between San Antonio and Corpus Christi. Can you offer any advice?

Do any of the companies ever need PC support either on-site at the rigs or at their local offices? I have looked before and never see a job listing and surely these PCs get used and abused. I have 9 years hardware/software support as a Systems Analysts and would like to get into Oil&Gas through the tech side. Any ideas?
I went to a vocational school for business & accounting but I do not have the experience everyone is looking for. I am currently looking for a good paying job that is willing to train. I’m going to attend the job fair at the fairgrounds this Tuesday. Does anyone know if they would still hire someone like me for a payroll or desk job?
My experience is that companies are hiring ALL positions, but those in the field are needed the most.

I have my Class B CDL with Passenger endorsement and have an impeccable driving record, are there any positions requiring this type of CDL, I also have a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources.
